Letter from the President/General Manager

WELCOME TO THE CYPRESS MOUNTAIN TEAM FOR THIS WINTER SEASON!

We sure had a fantastic and unforgettable 2022/23 winter season and once again Cypress Mountain was voted the #1 Ski Resort on the North Shore! We are keen to continue that trend in 2023/24 and your contribution plays a massive part in our success. Our mission is ‘To provide all of our guests with a memorable and fun recreational experience – the Cypress Mountain Experience!’  We are extremely fortunate to have excellent facilities, beautiful natural scenery, great terrain, but our real strength lies in our team living our values, to be friendly, helpful, and knowledgeable.

Cypress Mountain is proud to operate on the shared, unceded, ancestral territory of the Squamish Nation, the Tsleil-Waututh Nation and the Musqueam Nation. We are located within Cypress Provincial Park and uphold the values of the park in the way that we operate.

Team Member and guest safety is at the forefront of everything we do. Attention to risk management and team member safety is the basis of our operations – we work hard at making Cypress Mountain a safe place to “Work and Play” so we will share information about these initiatives - do not hesitate to ask questions if you are unsure of your individual role.

Every Cypress Mountain employee is a valued member of the team, and we will treat you with respect as an individual. Listening to your input is important to our continued growth and success. Open communication is vital to good teamwork - if you have any suggestions, concerns, or questions about why we do things or the way we do them, you are encouraged to talk to your supervisor or department manager. You will see resort leadership present in our operations every day, we will always be available to listen to you.
